LARGE FRAMED ORIGINAL CHARCOAL ART piece entitled "Scaredy Cat" by Calgary artist Maria Muszynski, 2000. Approx. 38.5" wide x 30.5" tall, framed dimensions. Fabulous and fun, animated, bold, eye-catching, cat - mouse stare-off theme in the black -silver-white charcoal style Maria is known for. A perfect Birthday / Christmas / Holiday Gift for a cat /feline lover or to feature on the wall of a contemporary / black -white monochromatic decor and add to your Local Calgary / Alberta /Western Canadian art collection. We've loved it but regret no space as we downsize.
As marked, paid $450 for just the charcoal back in 2002 and couple hundred for the professional framing.
Purchased on exhibit at Leighton Art Centre, Art in the Foothills of Alberta Gallery and professionally framed at the Framing & Art Centre in plementary black / silver metal frame with glare-free glass. Maria Muszynski is a teacher with the Calgary Catholic School District. She is a longtime member of the Burns Visual Arts Society, (BVAS), Canada’s oldest, continuously run studio co-operative. and a founding member of the Sacred Arts Guild of Alberta.
