This 1973 Ford Torino, Starsky & Hutch tribute car is all tuned up and ready go to a new owner. The car is in great shape and has scored the highest marks in all aspects during its latest appraisal. This car presents as a restored collector vehicle and it would make an excellent car show vehicle as the owners have a lot of memorabilia ( such as a portable magnetic "cop light", collectable magazines/brochures etc.) to present at a car show. This 2 Door Hardtop was assembled at a Canadian Plant, is 1 of 28,005 produced, sports a 8Cyl. Engine- 351 2/B engine, and was the First Ford Series vehicle assembled during the Model Year. The steel body shell is correctly stripped of existing material. The body finishing resulted in smooth ripple free exterior panels. Paint is modern, multi stage and professionally applied, in the style of Starsky and Hutch (red with the white stripe) in a period correct color. No dents, blemishes, bubbling, chips, rust, or visible primer. The panel fit and alignment is good. Opening panels operate with ease - no pinch point as the panels are operated. Doors lock shut securely. The rear trunk area has been correctly prepared and finished - was inspected in crevice areas and spare wheel area, no dampness or rust found. The tools and spare are with the vehicle. The area under the hood is spotlessly clean and finely detailed. The wiring is correctly routed and clamped out of the way of moving parts and heat. The front bumper area is damage free, chrome and trim excellent - no damage, paint is unmarked has no stone chips on front facing panels. Lights are unmarked and operational. Grill is unmarked. Rear area including bumper, trunk lid and rear lights, is unmarked - no damage. Body glass is in place with no de-lamination or fogging, windshield is unmarked, no scratches or rock chips, drivers line of vision is clear. Body seals are in place on the doors, windows, and all other opening panels to create a watertight seal. The underside of the body and frame is damage free, the car underside is clean and well restored to appear as new. Engine and engine bay are clean and nicely detailed. The engine was started from cold, and quickly settled into a smooth idle. Running operation consistent and even. The engine was allowed to reach full operating temperature, with no undue sounds or smoke. No oil in coolant. No excess steam in exhaust. Odometer: 15323 Fuel: Carburation 2V Steering: assisted Transmission: Automatic Dual exhaust No stone damage, chips or scratches on the windshield and other glass. No fogging or de-lamination. Headlights are in working condition: no damage, trim unmarked. Wheels - era correct alloy. Tires only 2 years old - new radial. Trunk - restored. Seats and door panels as new, black and red themed interior; bench seat with center armrest. No damage, no wear. Carpet as new with mats in place. Dashboard trim restored to new. Radio - era correct in dash. Floor console factory install.
