Hi Everyone, thank you for taking the time to click on our ad. Firewood Manitoba started selling firewood in 2006 and we've been supplying Good Wood (Gud Wud if you're Norwegian) ever since. Pricing for our cut and split firewood is a bit further down. While Firewood Manitoba is not the cheapest firewood supplier out there we believe you get what you pay for when es to firewood, just like lots of other things...
paring our cut / split firewood pricing to other suppliers three things you should ask are:
1.) Is it seasoned? If so, what is the internal moisture content and can I test with a moisture meter. Their answer should be less than 20% moisture and yes you can test it.
2.) Does the e stacked or loose and how many cubic feet of firewood per cord? If stacked their answer should be 128 cubic feet and if loose it should be 180 cubic feet as loose thrown firewood takes up more space vs. stacked firewood. Our firewood is delivered loose so you would receive 180 cubic feet of loose firewood if you bought a cord and 90 cubic feet if you bought a half cord.
3.) Will you provide a receipt with your name pany's name, contact information and license plate of the delivery vehicle? This information is useful in case you have any concerns regarding volume delivered, species etc. after delivery. A reputable supplier will have no problem providing that information.

1/4 Cord of Cut, Split and Guaranteed Seasoned (or its' free) pine firewood: $125 Picked up from our yard 5 minutes North of the Perimeter near Stony Mountain
Trying to visualize how much firewood is in a 1/4 cord? It will just about fill up the box of a 6.5' long truck bed if thrown in loose. If you stack it you can fit a 1/2 cord.

We supply firewood all year round and for a living. As such, we want to make sure that when you order a cord you get a cord, and if you order seasoned firewood you get seasoned firewood.
