- I own dozens of pieces made by Chan Luu and her daughter, and this piece is a little too similar to one I already own. - Her pieces are gorgeous -- they use stunning, well-cut gemstones, natural metals and other materials, and many of her pieces are very organic and inspired by nature. - Her collections are also multi-cultural and are influenced by designs from around the world. - Although her roots are in California, Chan Luu designed started this line in 1996 to honour all the places that she had travelled and she wanted to demonstrate her mitment to artisinal craftsmanship. -- She has her pieces made overseas and insists on fair labour practices which has won her the respect of the United Nations and the entire munity. - She has a dedicated, international following. Her pieces are sold at Saks, Nordstroms, Bloomingdale, flagship stores in LA and Tokyo and in fine boutiques around the world. - Her beautiful pieces are also available at Andrews in Canada (the high end sister to Holt Renfrew). - The beautiful labradorite chain is 21" long and studded with gorgeous gemstones that are faceted to sparkle at every angle. Each gemstone is carefully connected to the next with wire wrapping -- mon practice for fine jewellery. - At the end of the flash and scintillation of the labradorite, a crystal clear round quartz hangs delicately. It is checkerboard faceted (meaning the entire surface is faceted to allow for maximum sparkle). - And from the quartz gemstone, one more labradorite gem hangs and from that gem, a 1.5 inch polished "teardrop" piece of silver drops on which Chan Luu's signature appears. - The full length of the drop from the labradorite gemstone is a little more than 2 inches. - Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
