F-106A Delta Dart Cape Cod ANG Diecast Airplane Model

Hobby Master 1:72 Air Power Series HA3601 Convair F-106A Delta Dart Diecast Model USAF 102nd FIW, 101st FIS MA ANG, #57-2494 "Cape Cod", Otis AFB, MA, April 15th 1982 Starting on April 28, 1972 the Massachusetts ANG 101st FIS received 26 Convair F-106 Delta Darts. Originally “57-2494” c/n 8-24-77, the 100th F-106 produced was assigned to the 95th FIS in August 1959. On June 5, 1972 “57-2494” was received by the 101st FIS where it flew until it was retired to AMARC on December 29, 1987 and stored as FN163. It was later converted to a QF-106 target drone that was shot down by a Stinger missile on August 27, 1996.
