Experienced Tutor for Grade 6-12 English, Maths, Science

Hi there! My name is Maria! I have been tutoring for over 5 years, and I am looking to take on new students!
I am currently a master's student at McMaster University in the Global Health program and I have a bachelor's degree in biology. I have experience working with students at the high school and university levels. I am passionate about working with kids and helping them achieve their goals as well as teaching them strategies to be more self-reliant!
I work on the philosophy that each student has different abilities and requires assistance in different forms. I make it my mission to ensure that at the end of each session, the student feels confident that they have the tools and strategies they need plete their tasks and be successful.
What services do I offer? I tutor students in grades 6-12 ranging in subjects from English, maths, and science (biology and chemistry)
How do my sessions run? Tutoring will be held virtually through Zoom or Google Meets. At the end of each session, the student and I will make a game plan for what we will work on the following week. My hourly rate is $55 per hour.
