Evolve Alpen Carbon 29er Size Large. I'd venture to say this is the best price point for carbon frame and components on here.
Bought in late fall of 2021, so this only saw use in 2022. Ridden about 5 or 6 times. Like new condition. Never crashed, no scratches or dents. I bought a slacker bike in 2022 and so this one is largely neglected.
This is a great trail bike that's balanced well for climbing and long days in the saddle (slightly slacker seat tube angle). The lockout makes it especially versatile to minimize pedal bob. The shifting is incredibly crisp and accurate (best non-electronic drivetrain I've ridden). I'm 5 10 and 32" inseam and fits very well.
This bike sells for $4500 new plus tax, but I custom ordered this with Fox Factory Float and TRP brake upgrades (paid extra). I also put a lot more into upgrades myself.
Will throw in original SLX shifter, spare lockout lever, spare derailleur hanger, and spare new organic brake pads; brand new metallics are on there now).
Specs below:
- TRP Q2.3 SE brakes with 2.3mm two piece rotors (essentially Quadiams with DH-R calipers) - Fox Factory Kashima Rear Shock (upgraded ergonomic lock-out lever) - XT shifter with SLX derailleur - Funn carbon bars and waffle grips; OneUp 1x lever (picture shows Funn lever which has since been switched) - Frame protection - Nukeproof 35mm stem and cap - Nukeproof mudguard - Limotec 125mm dropper (brand new just installed) - DHF and DHR both Exo + tubeless - Nukeproof ICSG 05 top chain guide - XT 12 spd chain
Comes with Nukeproof Neutron flats.
