This is a Vario SL illluminated stand magnifier by Eschenbach (Germany). This device makes reading easier for those who suffer from impaired vision. Simply place the magnifier directly over the material being read and slide it across the page.
FEATURES: - large and bright 4”x2” magnification window - specially illuminated reading line - tiltable magnifier head for a relaxed reading position. - adjustable brightness controls and power light on the main handle - long-life halogen lamp helps to save energy (full disclosure - bulb works fine but seller unsure how old it is). - operates on AC power; has a 6 foot power cord - see photos for technical specifications
This magnifier is primarily suited to home use and is an excellent assistive device, especially for those who have difficulty tracking the line while reading.
Device is in excellent gently used condition with no visible damage or signs of wear.
