ENGLISH/FRENCH/MATH TUTOR

Hi! I'm Karen Wang, a fourth-year Con-Ed student at Queen's University, majoring in French with a minor in Psychology.
I am pleased to offer my tutoring services for students in grades K-6, specializing in math, English, and French. With extensive experience working with diverse age groups, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 7, I have successfully taught French and English classes via Zoom and have also provided English instruction to ESL students. I have helped a student improve their grade from a C Plus to an A- through my dedicated support and guidance.
As a reliable and determined educator, I am passionate about working with children and employing various methods and strategies to help plete their homework and achieve their academic goals. I am also capable of developing my own lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of each student. I pleted practicums via Zoom, where I taught French and English, as well as a practicum in a private academy for a grade 1/2 split class in December and January. During these experiences, I designed and implemented engaging lesson plans.
I prioritize creating fortable and supportive learning environment for your child during our sessions. To establish a connection, I will always begin our session with a "what's new" to engage with your child and foster munication. Your child'fort and well-being are important t to me, and I strive to build a positive relationship to ensure a productive and enjoyable learning experience.
I will have an expanded availability for tutoring starting May 1st, as I will be on summer break, allowing for greater flexibility in scheduling sessions. I mitted to providing exceptional tutoring services to support your student's academic success.
While my preferred method for having classes is via Zoom, I am open to further discussions and considerations to modate your specific needs and preferences. Please don't hesitate municate any further questions, as I am more than happy to respond!
