The HERR basement egress window is the answer for anyone updating or finishing their basement. Most of the time NO Concrete cutting is required to meet current code size requirements in the existing window opening.
The window is hinged to open fully out of the frame, making it a great safety upgrade for basement bedrooms.
Promotional pricing starts at $1078 for custom sized basement windows up to 57 United Inches. ( example 38"width + 19"height =57" united inches). This includes the HERR egress frame and a sliding window with tempered glass.
***If you are cutting a basement foundation in Edmonton or surrounding municipalities, you REQUIRE engineering and a stamped drawing PRIOR to cutting concrete*** Anyone who says you don't need permits will probably fib about other things as well.
Our design allows one to install egress windows into existing openings with height as small as 16 1/2”, with NO concrete cutting necessary. This saves you an average of $2000, as well as time, mess clean up and headache.
