Hi my name is Jessica! I am currently seeking part time and full time care to add to our day home family. I am located near 50th street and yellow head trail (Also close to Anthony henday) I have 15 years experience working with children of all ages. I have had the opportunity to care for children one on one, in a school setting, daycare, and now what I love the most my own established private day home of 10 years. My Qualifications are: •Completed Grade 12 Diploma •Early Childhood Development (Level 1) •2 years Assistant Director when worked at daycare •First Aid/ CPR/ AED Level B •Criminal Record Check for myself and spouse •Child Intervention Check •And many day work shop courses through A.R.C.Q.E (to gain more knowledge/education to use to my best ability for your child) As a new parent,I understand that it can take a lot of time and effort to find a perfect match to care for your child. I understand the stress and anxiety associated in finding the “right” day home. I provide a well drawn out transition period to ease the anxiety on children and parents. This has benefited new families by helping them gain the trust, strength and courage required for this next milestone in life. Your child will ease into the new relations with our day home family in such a way that it will keep their anxiety at a minimum. This also provides our existing day home family a chance to get to know them in a low stress environment. Our transitioning period is a win win and takes about a month. I work with you to provide a stress free environment. We are a busy group and spend a lot of time outside exploring either in my fenced backyard or to the park/field. I offer: •Educational themed and activities •Fun environment where the children can expand their imaginations and social skills to help reach their own development milestones. •I provide “real life” activities for them to do such as helping me bake treats, and on Friday’s it’s our laundry day so the children take turns placing their own blankets and sheets in the washer/ dryer etc. •My hours are Monday- Friday 7am-5pm •Nutritious hot meals and snacks are provided •My day home IS PET FRIENDLY (but no pets currently) •Smoke free •Proof of Vaccination For Covid-19 Available •Tax receipts provided for tax purposes (because I am a private business, I unfortunately do not have the option to offer subsidy) •Centralized -Easy access to all areas of the city. •Very close to St.Leo Elementary School •I offer numerous references from my past and current families in my care, upon request.
