This is an Original 1977 poster of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders by Pro Arts Posters, who sold many different TV Personality, 1970's Musical Rock Groups and Black Light posters in the late 1970's at vinyl record and department stores.
It measures 20 x 28 inches.
It has the Pro Arts number #14-548.
This Original 1977 poster is in Near Mint Condition with only a small tear on the upper right edge (see picture #4).
It has no pinholes, no tape, no edge wear, no surface ripples and never used or hung. It has been stored flat for the past 45 years.
You will never find a similar Original poster of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders anywhere in better condition.
I purchased this poster brand new in 1977 along with many others and stored them flat in my parent's basement where they were left forgotten until I rediscovered them.
This is the iconic 1977 poster that first brought fame to the then unknown NFL Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders in the summer of 1977. In the fall of that year, the Cheerleaders were featured on 3 television specials, NBC Rock-n-Roll Sports Classic and on ABC, the Osmond Brothers Special and the 36 Most Beautiful Girls in Texas. They were a sensation and TV viewership in the 1977 season of the NFL games featuring the Dallas Cowboys skyrocketed as a result.
