CNC Lathe Set-up Operator

Metalex Machine & Tool is a full service Precision Machine Shop located in the Scarborough area. We are ISO 9001 Registered and we offer a full Benefits Package. We are seeking a CNC Lathe Operator who will set-up, operate and inspect parts during the machining process. Successful candidates must have at least 3 years hands on experience.
Job Duties: - Operate CNC Lathe and supporting machines - Maintains dimensional tolerances between + .0003 and + .005 or greater - Interprets dimensions on a print - Must be knowledgeable with machining ponents - Utilizes precision measuring instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, gauge pins and depth micrometers accurately - Loads, unloads and inspects parts - Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures - Executes machine offsets and tool changes
Qualifications: - Min. High School Diploma or equivalent - Ability to read and write in English - Good understanding of machining principles and processes, with at least 3 year hands on experience - Must be able to troubleshoot problems as it relates to job
