Our Client:
Our client is a large food and pany delivering product to regular customers including, convenience stores, small supermarkets and drug stores. They are looking for a Class 1 driver to join their team.
Job Requirements:
Part-time to start, but leading to full-time.
Duties include:
Stocking and rotating product on various store shelves and displays
Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account, acting as a client representative
Generating invoices and maintaining responsibility for daily settlement of cash and charges
Building displays and setting up promotional materials
Completing all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
Performing all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, while pliance with all laws and transportation regulations
Requirements for the Class 1 Delivery Driver Role:
High School Diploma
Valid Class 1 license in good standing with a safe driving record
Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset
Ability to lift/carry 45-50lbs frequently for up to 8 10 hours a day
You can push/pull 50-250lbs
Shift times/Wage information for the Class 1 Delivery Driver Role:
6:00am 4:00pm
OT After 40
Additional information
Following training and the holiday season, drivers operate on a seniority basis and while this is considered a FT role, based on how busy the business is, it is likely that only 1 shift can be guaranteed during our shoulder season (January March).
Additional shifts will be available based on vacations, sick days, etc. that are called in by the rest of the team.
The opportunity that arises with this role is that whomever joins the team, assuming they are successful and a good fit, will be converted to a full-time employee.
