We are seeking a LINE COOK/CHEF Needed For an Upscale Thai Fusion Restaurant In Downtown Markham to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work under pressure Excellent munication skills Strong organizational skills In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety requirements In-depth knowledge of safe food storage guidelines Ability to use kitchen utensils and knives safely Ability to take direction and work as a team player Knowledge of some specific cooking processes such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, boiling water, or preheating pans and ovens Qualifications:
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields (Preferred but not necessary - will be Trained) Willing to learn Deep Fryer / Curry Station Passion for food and cooking techniques Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Chinese & English Speaking Preferred but NOT necessary
Full-Time Position
Monday - Sunday
Set Hours of Employment (ex. 11am - 9pm)
