Central Equipment, a family-owned Tractor and Agricultural Equipment dealership, has been serving Nova Scotia since 1958. We have three locations, in Truro, Kentville and New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Our Kentville location is currently accepting applications for a full-time Service Technician. The successful applicant will be based out of our Kentville location and be responsible for servicing Tractors, Farm Machinery, Attachments and Implements.

Key responsibilities of this position include: -Repairing tractors and farming equipment -Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, hydraulic, fuel, cooling and electrical systems puter diagnostic programs within multiple brands/ranges -Referencing parts programs municating with parts personnel -Logging parts used and labour hours per job -Attending training courses as required throughout North America -Having pride in cleanliness and maintaining service bay, service truck and shop tooling

Qualifications preferred but not required: -Heavy Duty Red Seal Technician -Five years experience in the Heavy Duty trade -Experience in Agriculture Equipment and Systems -Experience with diagnostic tooling -Good Customer service skills -Organized, neat and clean munication skills with customers and staff -Valid drivers license and passport

Candidates will be expected to problem solve quickly and work efficiently. Wages will petitive and based upon experience and qualifications. Central Equipment offers petitive pension plan and group health benefits package.
