Casque d’écoute antique de marque Brandes Supérior Pats Pending Matched Tone. Brandes a ses origines en tant que société canadienne fondée à Toronto en 1908. Peu de temps après la fabrication de ces écouteurs, Brandes deviendra alors une partie d'AT&T en 1922, avec une filiale britannique nommée "Brandes Ltd." établi deux ans plus tard à Slough, Berkshire.
