76 vs 88 – 3% of musicians use that extra 12 keys. Need flexibility for any music including international then change the Temperament [x17], Octave Shift [x2 up/down], Transpose, or Fine Tune [-99 to +99 cents]. Keys are semi-weighted standard size with sensitivity settings. Weighted vs Synth is a matter of taste and style BUT the equivalent features in a weighted keyboard is ‘stage level’ and used are $1000+ AND you’ll need a Amp/Sound System$$$.
Features a 32 part Mixer, Sequencer [x17 Tracks], Arpeggiator [x150], editable DSP effects [x100/+100 custom], & Tone editing for all 670 of them [+10 custom]; Velocity, Release, Attack, Compression, Delay, Panning, CutOff, Vibrato [Sin, Tri, Saw, Sqr], Phaser, Tremolo, Rotary, Reverb, Chorus, etc.
OBVIOUSLY it has MIDI [USB Plug & Play]. Aux-Audio In, Stereo/Mono Out – had it hooked to puter speakers to supplement the built-ins and it sounded awesome! Layering feature - Adds incredible richness & authenticity bining 2 piano’s or a percussive & rotary organ or …you get the idea. AMAZING bos with so many editable Tones to choose from!
Tones [x670] with some respectable Piano’s, 70’s Eps with “Rhodes Bark”, Clavi’s, Rotary Organs [Hammond/Leslie], Brass & Strings, Electric/Acoustic/Bass guitars with distortion versions, Drums, Synth pads, Choirs -- ALL editable.
Other notables - Board Split, Layering, Recording, and Save Setups/Registrations [x32] … Throw in a slew of backing Rhythms / Auto paniment where rhythm, bass, or harmony can all fully play or individually selected, Eg; Just drums or bass. Auto Harmonize or use the Arpeggiator with Chording – good for beginners that want practice to sound musical while figuring out hand separation and learn chord progressions. TIP: Set the timing on Rhythms and use that instead of the Metronome.
