Brand new roof mounted awnings for vans, RVs,or anywhere you want protection from the sun or rain.
The sliding doors on Sprinter, Promaster and Transit vans go right to the top of the body, which means any awning has to be mounted on the roof.
These awnings can also make a fantastic shade for your deck or pool area.

MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE VAN SPECIFIC, and are NOT INCLUDED with these awning when they’re sold. You will need to buy a set from carefree or on eBay. They can cost anywhere from $100-$180 depending on your van. You can also fabricate a custom set.
FROM CAREFREE'S WEB DESCRIPTION: The Freedom Roof Mount mounts on the roof. As it opens the arms unfold as you turn the hand crank. The support arms (extendable to 8') fold out of the lead bar once it's at eye level and within easy reach. The support arms adjust easily with flip lock controls to adjust for awning height. To close, just fold the support arms up into the lead rail and crank in the opposite direction - the awning case closes and locks.
I also have one awning that can be mounted on the side of the van (or RV… or House) for $2000. This awning does not require the purchase of mounting brackets as they are included. It’s 11 feet long and the model number is 351386D25TM
