Camper Conversion Handi Bus

Partly converted Handi Bus ready for summer road trip and camping fun! It’s the same length as a Ford E350 Econoline XLT van, but tall enough to stand in. It can fit through most restaurant drive ins and isn’t hard to park. Floor has been covered in EVA foam insulation. Shelf installed on right side and the door opening mechanism has been relocated over the dash to provide more living room. Comfortable passenger seat from a GMC Yukon installed with a fold up 2-person bench seat original to the bus. Tons of room for a queen mattress and cargo. Custom curtains built for each window with magnets to hold it against the wall. New premium rear brakes installed last year $600 in parts alone. 5.4L V8 gasoline engine runs/starts well but does have a small exhaust leak. This van can easily cruise at 120 on the highway. Gets about 600km/tank highway driving. Catalytic converter deleted so check engine light stays on. Heat and AC works in the front but the roof mounted unit
