survival Camp Job Description and Requirements: Www.HorsebackAdventures.ca Apply via [email protected] Day Camp counselor Commitment July till the end of August Monday – Fri, 8am – 5pm Extensive knowledge of plants/animals/nature Facility maintenance Life guard certified bonus 18 years of age + Create and run adventure challenge programs Natural sciences Certified in CPR & First Aid Responsible for checking in/out campers and their belongings Review participant files Complete incident reports to document any accidents, injuries or behavior problems that may arise. Previous experience in the outdoors, archery, canoeing kayaking, camping etc.… Inspect, organize and maintain all field equipment Work with camp director to develop and implement necessary policies Clear criminal background check munication and facilitation skills Legally able to work in Canada Positive attitude Thrive under pressure Ensuring camper safety at all times Ability to deal with emergencies (medical, emotional or mental) Assist other staff in duties whenever needed Communicating any issues to management Ability to lift 50lbs items to set up for activities Stamina to run sports activities with kids for 6 hours of the day
