I am currently building a new and eclectic business north of Calgary. It will be an Ice/Cream/General/ (perhaps) Off Sales store selling a variety of interesting things and featuring an amazing little park.

The Store is situated on 2+ acres and will feature a large backyard for kids to play in an explore. The theme of the backyard will be a "repurposed park" for kids to explore. The backyard will have a host of interesting things to see, touch and explore. We will host Bday parties and work with local schools to expose the park and to sell our wares.

There will be chickens and a petting zoo to attract the kids and to mow the lawn.

The store will initally be seasonal and open 7 days a week from May to October. The store is in an excellent location and is about 900 sq ft plus a further 300 sq ft of storage or backroom. The Store will feature a number of different things to sell.

I do not need capital but I am prepared to sell up to 40% of the business and there will be a proper shareholders agreement outlining the Ownership and wage and profit sharing. The 40% purchase will cost $ 40 k.

The ideal partner would love kids, be artistic, perhaps a great baker, creative skills and be able to work at the store 30+ hours a week primarily in the evenings (at least 3 evenings) as I have other business to attend to then. There will be staff for the weekends. I have realized that I will need help from an interested, engaged partner who has skills contrary to mine.

Once you are aware of what this can be I am confident that you will be interested. This is about far far more than just money, it will be about ideals and values.

It would be possible to live on site in an RV as it is a seasonal business. at least that is the initial plan. I want to have a few months off in the winter.

The focus of the store will be: HAPPY HEALTHY ECCENTRIC OLD SCHOOL KIDS ICE CREAM GREEN COMMON SENSE and a proper profit.

There are many opportunities and I have a number of initiatives underway. I will share more with interested parties.

I personally have a 5 year plan and then will be looking to likely exit the business after 5 years the shareholders agreement will address this.

The initial plan is to be seasonal but there seems to be many, many, many possibilities and I am open to all businesses of value. I have talked to many local folks who know the area and the opportunities. I don't wish to overstate the opportunities but they seem significant.

I will be living beside the store in a home I am also rebuilding and this is a bit of a wonderful lifestyle choice for me.
