Buescher True Tone Alto Sax-1926.Made in the USA. This has the True Tone's most modern key design. It was recently given plete overhaul at Musicare-one of the finest sax repair shops in North America. It plays like a new sax. This is a great alto sax. I have one too many of them. A great sax played by the greats. Charlie Parker, Arthur Blythe, Sigurd Rascher, even John Coltrane played a True Tone alto sax at one point (see attached photos). It has an exceptional altissimo and excellent intonation. This one is from 1926. It does jazz beautifully, and its dark voice was preferred for classical work by Sigurd Rascher. I am attaching a link to a youtube video by a repair-person with knowledge of this sax. Comes with a used hard-shell after-market case. Check out youtube to see what this sax can do.
