Buescher Aristocrat Alto Saxophone - Fresh Mechanical Overhaul!!

If you follow my web site or Instagram page, you know I love Bueschers. This Aristocrat is from 1951 and is a pro level sax. Cosmetically it is admittedly not great, but it has just received plete mechanical overhaul with all new pads. This sax plays and feels better than it did when it was new. It's a straight horn with only two resolders on key guard posts and a few dents removed. There was some dent work done on the neck, but it does not appear to have been pulled down. It still has all of the original snap in resonators, brown rollers and gold plated Norton springs. As with all my Buescher overhauls (including my personal alto and tenor) no adhesive was used to install the pads, as is traditional with these horns. It plays and seals top to bottom perfectly and has very good intonation. The sound is sweet and warm and can keep up with any modern horn. Don't miss out on this awesome horn at a great price!
