This Snowblower was purchased in Nov 2020 by the original owner and was only used about 4 times before he passed in 2021, so this is still basically like a brand new machine. It starts on the first pull, runs perfectly and even quieter than most smaller machines parison. (some ad words taken from the MTD website where some Cub Cadet pictures are shown as they are exactly the same machine, but only a different color and both are made by MTD) This MTD Pro Machine is red and black in color as in the first picture shown.
The MTD Pro 3-stage snow blower is more powerful as it blasts through the heavy snow and slush 50% faster pared to a 2-stage snow blower. Powered by an extra large and very powerful, heavy duty 13HP / 420 cc Powermore™ OHV 4 cycle gas engine, that runs quieter and cleaner in all winter conditions and is capable of throwing heavy and wet snow up to 50ft away without clogging. This VERY EASY to use machine, has an 110V ac Electric Start (or manual pull start), Electric Power Steering (with finger-tip controls), Electric Power Shute Toggle Control and Electric Heated Handlebar features greatly help to improve the overall user control and functionality.
How is this 3 stage snowblower different and better than a 2 stage snowblower? The "Third Stage Induction Accelerator" pulls, chops-up and pushes more snow, ice and slush through the 3 Stage System like a Turbocharger, which is ideal for busting through a wall of Winter snow more quickly and easily than any 2 stage snowblower on any driveway. You will notice a big difference!
