Brand new luxury waterfront cabin for rent on Lake Lac du Bonnet

Our new family cottage was built in 2022. Comfort, luxury, connection (with nature and with friends and family) and a healthy environment were top priority. It’s designed to provide spaces for people to congregate and connect, along with spaces for guests wanting some privacy or solitude. Natural building materials were used wherever possible and many building biology principles were incorporated. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, each with a king size bed, a desk and an armoire. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in shower. All showers are equipped with a rainfall shower head and a handheld shower head. Two of the showers have windows that open up to the outdoors allowing you to enhance your shower experience with fresh forest air. The master bedroom has a soaking tub with views of the lake and sunset. There is a 4th room that can double as a bedroom or office. This room includes a 3 person sauna. All 4 bedrooms are each connected to a large wrap-around deck via their own patio door. You can enter the cabin via the main entry way or the mudroom. Seating areas in the entryway allow you to take advantage of light from the beautiful morning sunrises. The mudroom is equipped with full laundry and lots of space to hang outdoor clothes and to store footwear. Off the mudroom is a small workout room and a powder room with a toilet. The main living space is open, centered around a wood burning stove, and includes the kitchen, bar, living and dining areas. The bar is located right off the main room, beside the kitchen and is equipped with a sink, a cold beverage fridge and a red wine cooler. The professional es equipped with everything that you need to prepare big, gourmet meals. The large island with granite countertop gives you plenty of lake-view prep space, makes for easy buffet-style eating and modates 6 people which means that you don’t have to prepare meals alone. The dining area is close to the kitchen and has space to modate all of your guests. A huge, comfortable, sectional couch, along with a TV (with internet connection) makes up the living area. The sectional couch is placed to maximize views of the lake, sunsets and fireplace. The main living space opens onto a deck with a view of the lake and includes an outdoor eating space, an outdoor lounging space, a propane BBQ. The deck is partially covered so that you can still enjoy the outdoors in the shade or out of the rain. From the deck, you can access the detached sunroom which doubles as another eating space out of the rain or another living space (gathering place for adults in the evening, playroom, quiet reading room). Lake water is available from taps in the yard and by the boat house. The boat house is available to store water toys and fishing gear, or to clean fish. It has a cold water sink and bar fridge. The upgraded cedar dock has an 8ft by 20ft platform overlooking the lake with swim steps for easy and safe exit, and is surrounded by water 5-7 deep. The shoreline by the dock is a natural beach with a gradual slope great for young kids or to slowly wade in for a swim. With 180 degrees of lake view from northeast to southwest, sunsets are always great and can be enjoyed on the dock, by the beach front fire pit, or from the cabin. We have 2 small kid kayaks that are available as well. Granite Hills golf course is a 25min drive away, Black Bear golf course is 15 minutes away, Pinawa Golf course is 30 minutes away and Lac du Bonnet is 15 minutes away. Fishing in summer and winter around the cabin is fantastic. It is a perfect for a small- scale executive retreat or training session/strategic planning session. Concierge (groceries there upon arrival), meal preparation, executive coaching and extra cleaning services are available upon request.
