This is a great unit for children to use at home for school or personal use. It also makes for an excellent carry-on while on the go for work or personal as it's only about 1Kg in weight, so it won't hurt lugging it around like most traditional larger laptops. It can also run for up to 10 hours on a single charge and only uses a very tiny power adapter to recharge it.

This model also supports the Google Playstore for full Android app support. Use all your favorite Android cell phone and tablet apps on this device. It makes using this specific model a real joy and more versatile than many older models that don't support the Google playstore, and thus have a much more limited range of programs that can be run on it.

By installing CrossOver from the Google playstore you can also even install and run some of the many different Microsoft Windows programs out there as well, thanks in part due to the Intel processor.

The 32GB onboard storage internally is great for storing files locally, or you can even attach a USB flash drive as needed. I've just had the latest 64bit ChromeOS installed and it runs very well with a fast dual core 1.1Ghz Intel N3350 processor with burst speeds of up to 2.4Ghz when needed.

With 4GB of ram memory, this makes a huge difference when running programs in general or when running many of them at the same time. Even with many tabs open in the Chrome internet browser you can clearly see the difference between the 2GB and the 4GB models out there.

The bright matte HD hi-res 11.6" screen is excellent for working on it for long periods of time as the battery can power you for up to 10 hours max according to Asus. At 1366*768 pixels resolution, this display is easy to use for long periods of time without eyestrain. This also makes it great for travel without needing to carry around a heavy, bulky unit and power adapter as this unit uses a very pact charger.

Work for up to 10 hours maximum on one charge (depending on settings selected). This is a far cry from many older laptops that were good for only 1.5-4 hours of actual battery usage.

There's 3 USB ports (both 1 USB2.0 and 2 USB3.0 ports), a touchpad, built-in bluetooth, dual band wireless connectivity, and even an HDMI port on the side to connect it to a large screen tv, monitor, or projector as needed. This makes it perfect for sharing movies, videos, pictures, documents and others as well.

With the built-in webcam, speakers and microphone you can easily Skype and webchat as needed.

The sleek light case makes for a puting device and folds up very slim, with a nice sized keyboard as well.

It's a very nice unit that'pact and light enough to be carried around all day without the heavy weight of a conventional laptop. Easily travel with it and charge it using pact universal power adapter that can function in other countries as well.
