***We Have 3 weeks in June Available - July & Aug is Complete*** e to our quaint, 4-season cottage, located on the waterfront in Buckham’s Bay. Just 20 minutes out of Kanata, 40 minutes from downtown Ottawa, it’s ideal for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. After a day of fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, sunbathing or swimming right from the river-stone beach or from the 60ft dock, relax in one of the six cherry-red Muskoka chairs on the lower patio, or enjoy a meal watching blue heron from the deck. At night, relax, star gazing from the campfire with the supplied firewood. In the winter months, try your hand at ice-fishing or bring up your snowmobile. If your intent is to work, the WIFI is very good and allows for streaming with a supplied Fire TV Stick. You can bring your own VHS tapes/DVD’s or watch one of ours. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one queen and one twin/full bunkbed. The living room has an additional double sleeper sofa. es with a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and laundry facilities. Air conditioned and heated, you can also enjoy the cozy fire of a potbelly stove for those cooler days or romantic nights. Sleeps up to 7, one bathroom. Offers towels, linens, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishware, glassware, cutlery, cookware, DVD and VHS player, radio system that includes Bluetooth, cassette, CD and vinyl record player. Included is one dish sponge, two dishwashing tabs, dish soap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner and laundry detergent. Located close by; 3 restaurants (Happy Times, Lighthouse & The Point) with take-out/delivery, a general store with an LCBO depot, a small grocery store, pharmacy and Port of Call Marina offers boat rentals.
