Bombardier top of the line black Modular snowmobile helmet size XXL, with Collett Platinum 900 radio, channel 7068. All the helmet controls are designed to be operated with gloves on: releases, visor, shade slides, buttons and radio controls. Paid near $1000 for the helmet, and radio together. Barely used, excellent condition. Helmet has a double lens clear front shield with no scratches, and an inner tinted sun visor that slides down inside the visor as well, part of the modular shield. The mask is like a fighter pilot, that fit over your nose and mouth and is externally vented with dual side ports to keep breath condensation out of the helmet, and away from the visor. The mask also has a built in microphone. It is clean, es with full set of new mask absorbent pads.
The Collett Platinum 900 FM radio is the best snowmobile radio on the market for sound quality and longest distance of up to 2 miles. Voice activation and sensitivity controls enable you to easily speak and hear your panions without the need to take your hands off the bars, or hear the other's ambient noise. Channel is 7068, but if you have your own group frequency, it can be sent to Collett and changed to another frequency for $25. The microphone is built into mask. Speakers inside helmet. Rechargeable NIMH battery pack is made to be worn inside clothing to keep battery warm.
Also included: Brand New Collett Platinum Passenger unit, for use with the Collett Platinum 900 driver's . This is a full Duplex Rider/Passenger . This unit allows the passenger to enjoy all the features of the Platinum 900. The passenger has the ability to broadcast to others, talk on the rider's cellphone, listen to amplified music, or have a private conversation with the rider while still monitoring the airwaves.
