Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons is recognized as the foremost educational boating authority in Canada. Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons offer a variety of home study, online and classroom-based Boating and Navigation courses across Canada. We are non-profit. The Bluenose Squadron is responsible for all of western Nova Scotia but you can take an online course with almost any convenient Squadron.

Some courses can be done anytime at home at your own pace. For example, the Pleasure Craft Operating Certificate and Marine Radio Courses are home-study.
