1 item is a pair of side mounts for one bucket seat. Unlike universal side mounts, my design allows a bucket seat to be directly fixed to the floor.
Driver side and passenger side available.
'Direct fit to the chassis mounting points' bucket seat side mounts. I wanted to install a MOMO Safari Daytona in my e36. I wanted the side mounts to be stiff, simple, low cost, easy to make, easy to install, less parts as possible etc. I first measured all the dimensions needed to make it perfect for me but I decided to add more length and adjustments so it will fit more drivers. 75% of the time involved in this project was the final and small details to please as many people as possible with a plete product.
Installation: -Install the side mounts on your seat. -Find the position that suits you best. - Mark, punch and drill the 4 holes to bolt the seat. -Cut the excess material that is not necessary.
I also have a lower cost version for your 80/20 Sim rig, see the last photo, (150$ +shipping for a pair) this is a symmetric part, 25in long
The steel thickness is 0.135in or 3.4mm
The price is less than a Sparco base that also requires universal side mounts.
I sold 12 pairs to e36 and e46 owners, I still have 5 drivers side and 1 passenger side available (2020/12/31)
Laser cutting is performed with top of the line Mitsubishi equipment to guarantee a smooth finish.
Fits: e36 and e46. but If you're very tall in a e36 coupe or very short in a e46 sedan you might run out of adjustment.
