Beautiful Beach House rental with Hot Tub near Summerside, PEI
A spectacular vacation rental opportunity in Mont Carmel, PEI. The Carmel Sands Beach House is available for 3 (or more) nights rental on the beach of the Northumberland Strait, just 20 minutes west of Summerside.
This unique destination belongs to the Carmel Sands Condos and Chalets property situated on 140 acres. In the past, the beach house was used as a restaurant (La Lobster Shack), however, last summer we converted it to a unique vacation rental and has recently been winterized.
The beach house offers a very unique open-concept living arrangement where the two bedrooms are separated by curtains from the great room and allow the picturesque view to be seen through the abundance of windows overlooking the strait. The huge great room has a fully functional bar, extra large family dining table, 55” Smart TV, computer work space and more! There is a full kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub/shower, two toilet stalls and double sinks.
The outside patio has an inflatable Coleman hot tub (warmer months only) for your exclusive use where you can watch the waves, tides, birds, stars and the most incredible sunsets. There are also tables and chairs and a small BBQ with solar patio lights.
There are some quirks with this one-of-a-kind destination, as follows: There are no walls or doors separating the bedrooms, only curtains (see pictures). The property was known in munity as a restaurant with beach access, so there may be visitors on the property, however, private signs are posted. There is beach access and parking permitted to Carmel Sands residents who reside across the road where the pool is located.
