Bb Tenor/Bass Herald Trumpet made in England by Boosey & Hawkes. Professional model " Imperial " Silver Plated, 3 valve. Serial # 2961xx = 1959, 492 bore, 5 7/8" bell, With original oak case. In near mint condition with a few very minor dings and no indication of any plating wear. Just serviced, chemically cleaned, sanitized, new felts and corks Valves are fast and smooth, all slides move freely. Has two rings (original ) in the bell to hang a banner / flag / ensign. These are also know as Aida Trumpets, Ceremonial Trumpets and Coronation Trumpets. The Tenor Trumpet sometimes called Bass Trumpet is one octave lower the same pitch as a trombone / euphonium. ( Tuned to A=440 / LP ) Asking $ 2000.00
