Bandoneon - Alfred Arnold- Rheinisch tuning - zinc plates

This Bandoneon is an old Rheinisch system (Argentine tango) 106 tone, Zinc reed plates. 22 buttons on the left hand, 31 buttons on the right hand. 2 reeds per note are octave tuned - used for the Argentine tango. The wood is in beautiful shape. It needs new gaskets where the bellows meet the wood, the bellows need repairing. (The bellows leak as can be seen in the pictures). The reed leathers also need replacing from being ignored. It is currently not playable but it has been stored in a dry, indoor environment. See pictures for condition of insides / bellows and outside of the instrument. This instrument is sold AS IS - it needs some attention to get it back to it's prime. No refunds. From what I can tell from a little bit of research, it was built between 1910-1935. It is a beautiful instrument in good shape for it's age of 85-110 years old. This bandoneon has the sought after premium zinc plates and hand-made reeds which apparently sound even better than the handmade reeds from bandoneons made in the 40's. 8 3/4" X 8" X 14 1/4" (including wood handles) Located in Chesley Ontario Can ship anywhere. 250-626-7896
