Asking $90 . This is an ad for an Automatic Electric desk top telephone model AE 40 made in Canada at Brockville Ontario from 1939-1950's. It has an original AE Dial and cloth receiver cord and a newer jack ended line cord. AE was a telephone equipment manufacturer which mainly sold their telephones to the none panies in Canada and the USA. At the time this particular telephone was plete styling departure from anything Northern Electric was making for Bell Canada. This telephone is a survivor at least 60 years of age. By looking at the pictures you can see how good it looks and was only cleaned and polished. ponents are in working order. The telephone rings and calls can be answered has good sound quality if you have a patible land line you can dial out as well. A great piece of telephony history to own.
