Ashtech ProMark-2 GPS System with Accessories Survey tools
GNSS receiver ASHTECH PROMARK 2 Thales / Magellan Professional / Ashtech Promark 2 GPS unit. The Ashtech Promark 2 looks a lot like the Magellan GPS300 pioneer which is not surprising as they are essentially one and the same. Externally the main differeince to be seen is that four contactpins (power ánd serial) vs the power only of the GPS300. The unit runs on two penlite batteries and is still operational. As a stand alone unit this was no better than the GPS300 and would give meter level accuracy. However, bined with a geodetic antenna, it was possible to collect raw GPS data with the receiver which could then be post processed into a static solution. The same principle is also found in the Mobilemapper 6 (which does not have the separate antenna though).
It sells on eBay for about $550 USD (!) per one set/unit ... feel free to make me an offer.
