The BELLA Cakesicle Maker can bake up to 5 cakesicles that are ready to decorate in a matter of 5 minutes. Simply bake, decorate, and attach to wooden sticks or coffee stir sticks. Great family fun treat.
Non-stick baking plate for easy cleaning. Power and ready indicator lights; 760 Watts. Auto shut off when overheated for safety. Price is pretty firm.
FONDANT ICING RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 cup chocolate chips (use white chocolate for white frosting) 4 cups (1 pound) powdered sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup hot water (start with half and add more to thin) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl. Melt the chocolate chips in a saucepan or in the microwave. While the chocolate is melting, add the corn syrup and hot water to the powdered sugar. Start by pouring the corn syrup and just half of the hot water. Stir. Add more hot water to reach your desired consistency. Add the chocolate to the sugar mixture and stir slowly as not to create bubbles. If the mixture es thicker, reheat and add a little bit more hot water until the desired texture is reached. Dip or spoon the fondant onto your cake, cookie or pastry and allow ample drying time.
This frosts 7 batches or 3 dozen cookie popsicles. Leftovers can be made into candies.
