Arts Hammered Pumpkin Copper Vase
This vase was made from a single heavy gauge copper sheet and raised with the hammer and chisel. Made by artist Abdon Punzo, from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. This artwork is a unique copper pumpkin with the hammer footprint on the pronges and the chisel on the middle. You will be delighted with the details the sculptor put on it. This is a unique collectors piece! The copper sheet is thick. Take a look to the dimensions, it is big! Abdon Punzo, Mexican Sculptor, Artist and Coppersmith. He is best contemporary Mexican copper and silver sculptor and artist and probably the best in his class worldwide. Abdon says that every time he creates a piece of art, he just think about it and creates it, he does not use any diagrams or any drawing tools to generate such beauties. The hammer and chisel are his only tools and they determine forms, hit by hit. He is the one that has got most of the National Awards on Hammered Copper and Silver in Mexico.
