• beautiful little round bed step-up bed stool with original curved cast iron (most likely) ormolu or gilt legs • fancy legs have a nice untouched aged rich patina • dark navy-blue cotton velvet with three toned Carmel coloured flowers • textile looks to be free of tears • there are two areas with a light crusty ‘stuff’ – can probably, be removed with a light brushing – up to the end user (PLEASE, CONTACT FOR MORE PHOTOS) • velvet is edged in a soft blue old trim & attached with the original small domed nails / tacks • nail heads have character rust • underside of stool is wood • handwritten in pencil: SOLD: MISS JONES $1.75 / 1927 • also, written in pencil (difficult to make out): maybe – Patricia T. Stoss? • measures: 11”Diameter x 7”H • quite a weighty little thing: almost 4 Lbs. • origin unknown • age: 1927 • maker: maybe – Patricia T.
