Antique Wm. L. Gilbert “Portrait Pendulum” Mantle Clock

This William L. Gilbert mantle clock was made in 1910. The model name was General Sets (model number “General 131”) and was manufactured by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Company of Winsted, Conn.
It has an 8-day movement that strikes on the hour and a half hour.
Antique pressed oak case with lion motif over a single arched door including a reverse painted stenciled glass on a carved base. At the top, one Majestic Lion with two Lions in profile on each side – very unique. Manufactured in 1910, this model is very well made and it works!
The clock has a fancy guilt pendulum that contains the portrait of an Edwardian era lady.
It has two winding holes es with the key.
Measurements: 22½” Tall x 4” deep x 13” wide
