Antique Ontario made Cedar Chest

This beautiful Red Seal cedar chest was made in the 1950s and has the original stamp and warranty from the manufacturer-the Honderich Furniture Co. in Milverton Ontario which closed in 1969. This item sells at auction for around $400-$700 depending on the condition. The top and back veneer has begun to peel but would be simple enough to remove and replace to restore it. We just never got around to it. It has been used to store blankets so it's in terrific condition on the inside (the ceddar smell is still great) as can be seen from the photos. Asking $200 obo
