Antique Metal and Wood Dairy Crate

The crate is made of quality wood with galvanized metal corners. It’s of a quality you might not expect of a dairy crate. So, this CLOVERLEAF-50-5 dairy crate has been in my possession for more than 40years and I used it to hold important keepsakes — you know, the sort of stuff you cart around from one place to another yet don’t know why you’re doing it! I’m guessing I picked it up in the States. I can’t recollect from where! It’s in very good condition and I’m guessing it was used in the middle of the 20th century, perhaps immediately prior to plastic milk crate use, say, 1940s through 1960s.
