Antique Handpainted Nippon Porcelain Demitasse Cup & Saucer Set

This is an antique hand painted Nippon (made in Japan) porcelain demitasse cup & saucer set in a beautiful pink, mauve, yellow and green floral pattern and trimmed with gold. The back stamp on the cup dates this set to circa 1891-1921. Matching saucer has no backstamp.
Demitasse cup is approx 2.5” diameter at the rim, and 2.75” high. Saucer is approx 5” diameter.
Both pieces do show signs of wear consistent with age. Most noticeably some of the gold trim has worn off on the cup handle and around the rim of both the cup and the saucer. There are no chips, cracks, stains or crazing on either piece. Cup has a small flaw on the inside bottom (like a fleck of sand embedded in the glaze). Saucer has a similar flaw on one of the flowers, and also has some marks on the underside (see photo).
Pickup is in St. James, vicinity of Ness and Ferry Road.
