Antique Crystal Glass Etched Double Pane Large Mirror

This antique mirror measures 34,5inx 26,5in and has gilt wood frame. There are 2 sheets of glass positioned on top of each another. The bottom glass is a mirror and the top is a clear crystal glass with etched garlands along the top. This creates the wonderful 3-D effect. Very innovating idea in the early XX century. The etching is that of a flower garland positioned along the outside corners of the mirror. The thick wooden frame is very nicely molded and hand gilded, and preserves great age patina.
