These bungalows were a very important part of Port Elgin’s 20th Century history. Originally, they were seasonal rentals that were a popular summer destination of families from far and wide looking for a summer vacation and the inviting Lake Huron beaches. Recently, they were structurally reinforced, totally renovated & winterized to bring a new pride to the area. The outside design is in the Cape Cod style. On the inside of a few bungalows, we were able to retain some of the rustic charm of days gone by. Each unit offers a reasonably-priced ownership opportunity. Within a few short blocks of one of the finest beaches on Lake Huron, they are well-priced, either as a starter home or a 4-season retreat. Each owner is a member of the home owners association. Bungalow ownership entitles one vote in the Association. The Association is responsible to uphold the rules of the Association and revise, from time to time, as deemed necessary by the individual members. The Association rules cover how these bungalow units will be managed. There will be a quarterly maintenance fee, determined & revised by the owners at the annual meeting of the Association. This fee will cover the cost of, lawn mowing, driveway/laneway snow=plowing, driveway/fence maintenance, basic cable, internet building and liability insurance and municipal property taxes plus municipal water and gas.
EXTERNAL features of all Bungalows - Real cedar siding for longer life, painted in Cape Cod colours, with shaker trim

- Spray foam insulation - R20+ in walls and R40+ in ceiling
- Lot excavation with sod grass and/or hydro seeding
- One designated parking spot per unit mon on-site visitor parking
- Screen door at front entrance and outside entrance light
- Log planters on the sides of each building for drainage and future flower beds
- Good-neighbour, low-rise fences separating the property boundaries

- Quality birch wood kitchen cabinetry built by Amish artisans, ceramic backsplash
- Appliances include a 16.3 cu. ft. Fridgedaire refrigerator and an electric 4-burner Danby bo (unless otherwise noted)
- “John Wood” high-efficiency, on-demand water heater, powered by Takagi
- 5/8” drywall on vaulted ceiling or where possible, the original feature ceiling and ½“-drywall on walls or where possible, the original log feature walls
- Quality 12mm laminate flooring
- Co2/smoke detector hard-wired with battery back-up
- 100-amp electrical service, with separate meter
- Venetian blinds throughout as window coverings
- Quality light fixtures with remote controlled ceiling fan in living area
- Oak feature, gas fireplace, 29,000-32,000 btu’s for efficient heating and ambiance.
- 3-pce bathroom with molded shower and all bathroom hardware
