FURNACE LINING Furnace hearth/Side wall up to molten metal level:
Hi/Al 60-65 % bricks: 230mm thk.
Insulation bricks: 115 mm thk.
Insulite castable: 75 mm thk
Total Thickness: 420 mm
Side wall above the molten metal level:
Hi/Al. 45-50%: 230 mm thk.
Insulation bricks: 115 mm thk.
Hysil Board: 50 mm thk
Total Thickness: 395 mm
Furnace Roof (Brick Lined)

Insulation bricks: 75mm thk.

TILTING ARRANGEMENT
The furnace tilting arrangement will be effected through 2 nos. Hydraulic cylinders along with suitable power pack assembly the proposed cylinders will be connected to the sides of the furnace shell. The furnace will have LIPAXIS tilting design.
