Our client is a full-service grounds pany offering landscape maintenance, landscape construction, interior plant care and snow removal services mercial, municipal and multi-tenant residential clients across the Greater Toronto Area. They are looking for a strong general accountant, who is driven, able to consistently meet deadlines and has an analytical eye to support this growing business.

• This is a permanent role, full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Competitive salary of $70K-$85K

Responsibilities
• Daily posting of entries into the accounting system.
• Prepare weekly payroll.
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end financial statements by the 15th day of the
following month.
• Prepare year-end closing process including preparing accrual journal entries and GL
account reconciliations.
•Full cycle accounting including AP, AR, Bank/Credit Card/Prepaids.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-cycle Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• Experience in all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, month-end, and year-end close and preparation of all financial statements.
• Experience with collecting overdue receivables.
• Strong knowledge of Sage50 or Simply accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
