Double Durable, Double thick, White Plastic Barrel, Reinforced Strong Black Handles, Gasketted, Easy-spin, high speed, screw-top, red-lidded, Barrel: $55.00. “CurTec,” Product of Holland. {CurTec has an outstanding website}. Great barrel when back country camping / portaging by canoe, preventing bears from obtaining your food. This one is my absolute favourite. Air tight, shipping seal keeps everything dry in poor weather or if your canoe should tip. This one is in Nearly Brand New Condition. It was used once as a pharmaceutical shipping barrel {washed, grease pencil, and all labels removed}. It absolutely looks mint. This Barrel has a 55 L (liquid) capacity. It is 11 inches (28 cm.) in diameter (on the inside of the opening) across the top, lid, opening. The diameter is 16 inches wide at its widest circumference. It is 21.5 inches (53.5 cm.) in height from base to top lid, opening. An Alaska bound customer, built a custom cutting board into the concave shape of the lid. She also made a chair pad. strong enough for even me to sit on. 210 L, 120 L, 113 L, 100 L, 80 L, 83 L, 60 L, 59 L, 57.5 L, 57 L, 55 L, 40 L, 34 L, 30 L, 25 L, and 18 L barrels still available. Wide opening at top—great for larger items {Huge tent / Double sleeping bag}. A high school friend said that the red lid was instrumental in the rescue of her children—could be seen from 1 to 2 kms. away.
