Selling due to lack of use. Purchased in July of 2021 as a backup bike for my son, and ridden a total of 3 times in 2022. Full maintenance done in the spring of 2022 where the bike was stripped to the frame, and rebuilt. Bike includes GYTR forged brake and clutch levers, holeshot device, new throttle cable, and an engine hour meter. 2.8 Hrs on fresh top end, and clutch plates are at 2.95-3.00mm thickness. (96% of full thickness) Synthetic engine oil changes at 3-5 hr intervals, and Synthetic pre-mix used exclusively. Suspension is currently setup with 1 step softer fork springs (2.7) and shock spring (3.8) for a lighter/shorter rider. (Suspension oil has only 2.8hrs since last service) Carburetor is setup for running between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
This bike is the easiest to start of the currently available 65cc motocross bikes, (We own a KTM 65 SX, and have been around KXs) and has a very linear and predictable power delivery. This would be the perfect bike for a beginner rider looking to move up from a 110/125 4-stroke trail bike, or a rider with an older 60/65cc motocross bike looking to upgrade.
Spares package includes stiffer fork springs (Std 2.8), stiffer shock spring (Std 4.0), throttle cable, air filters (2), spark plug, synthetic engine oil, OEM brake and clutch levers, front tire tube, rear tire tube, and partially used front and rear tires. A US-sourced Genuine Yamaha Service Manual is included as well. (This is the dealer-level shop manual)
The bike is registered in PEI, with title transfer required plete the sale.
