Location, Location, Location!!! I have two rooms available for rent in a four bedroom home next to MUN & Avalon Mall. It is roughly a 5 minute walk to the Avalon Mall and 7-10 minutes to the university. There is also a bus stop right in front of the house going either direction to the mall or straight to MUN. Currently I am the only one living here. I am a male in my mid 20’s, I work full time and travel frequently for work. So there could be periods of time when I’m not around for a month or so, needless to say I’m pretty quiet lol. LGBTQ+ friendly The house is pretty big with a large living room and dining room. Very large basement rec room, generous sized bedrooms with lots of closet space. There is also a huge back yard which is very fun in the summer for gatherings! Rent is $575 with electrical and internet included, Oil heat not included and cost will be split 3 ways. (A full tank is roughly $900 depending on fuel prices at the time so your portion would be 300 and lasts roughly 2-3 months in the winter. I’m the summer I usually fill up in May and don’t need to fill again until mid October/ early November) just for reference I only filled my tank 3 times in 2022. I’m ideally looking for roommates that are clean, respectful and down to earth. I’m a very laidback person and not much bothers me. I’m not the type of roommate to dictate when you can have guests over or get angry if the house is messy sometimes. All I ask is that respect the house and anyone living here. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. Small dogs preferred over big dogs must be properly house trained(I get accidents happen but I don’t want to have to step in dog pee every morning lol), cats are okay as long as they’re properly litter trained. No smoking inside (vaping okay). Feel free to smoke outside, just be mindful of your butts. Month to month lease, damage deposit required, previous landlord reference may be required.
